Event: Third Online Conference CLIMATE 2010/KLIMA 2010 [viewed]

This conference is organized by the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP), Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and other international bodies. This free, interactive and climate-friendly event aims to provide an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, NGOs and the interested public to present and discuss their work. The 2010 conference will focus on climate change and sustainable management of water resources.

Event: ICAO Colloquium on Aviation and Climate Change [viewed]

The third of the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) Environmental Colloquiums will take place at ICAO headquarters in Montreal, Canada, and will focus on the relationship between climate change and aviation. The Colloquium plans to introduce participants to developments in ICAO's environmental work and prepare them for high-level decision making at the ICAO Assembly in September 2010.

This meeting, hosted by ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability with numerous UN partners, will provide a global forum on urban resiliency and adaptation immediately preceding the UN climate talks in Bonn.
