DHL Express Demonstrates Green Commitment with Special Shipment for UNEP [viewed]

© CN NET1 April 2009: On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Climate Neutral Network (CN Net) of the UN Environment Program (UNEP), DHL Express sent its first carbon neutral express shipments from Africa. The shipments from Nairobi, Kenya, included trophies that were delivered to the 86 cities, associations and companies around the world that currently form UNEP's CN Net.

CDM Executive Board Launches Calls for Inputs [viewed]

30 March 2009: The Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has launched two calls for inputs, as agreed by the Board at its 46th meeting. The first call is for inputs on efficiency in the operation of the CDM and opportunities for its improvement. The second call is for Designated National Authorities (DNAs) to provide inputs on how to address issues relating to regional distribution of CDM projects, for consideration by the Executive Board at its 47th meeting, which is scheduled to take place from 27-29 May 2009, in Bonn, Germany.
