29 June 2011: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP)-Risoe Centre has announced the launch of a new publication series titled "Technology Transfer Perspectives," which aims to stimulate debate and information sharing on technology transfer among academics, experts, policy makers, practitioners and other stakeholders, and will include mitigation and adaptation-side approaches.
29 June 2011: The Secretariat of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) has released its report from "Land Day 4," which took place on 11 June 2011, in parallel to the Bonn Climate Change Conference.
28 June 2011: The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) has published the 10th issue of its monthly Climate Change News Update, which compiles international and regional climate change-related news. The issue features an article on the lack of agreement on key areas at the Bonn climate change talks, held from 6-17 June 2011 in Bonn, Germany.
28 June 2011: The UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UN/ISDR) has stressed the need for disaster risk reduction (DRR) approaches to reduce the impacts of drought, highlighting that DRR policies such as water management and flood risk management are necessary to help anticipate and reduce the consequences of such events.
The Enforcement Branch of the Kyoto Protocol’s Compliance Committee is responsible for determining whether Annex I Parties are in compliance with the Kyoto Protocol, including their emissions targets and reporting commitments, and determines the consequences for Parties not meeting their commitments.

27 June 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the synthesis and assessment report (FCCC/WEB/SAI/2011) on the greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories submitted in 2011.
27 June 2011: The UN Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Regional Office in Africa has announced the launch of the 2011 Ozone Africa Media Award. The award, which was established in 2010, aims to encourage the highest standards of excellence in environmental and scientific reporting, focusing on how ozone issues are addressed in Africa.
27 June 2011: At its 14th meeting, held in Bonn, Germany on 22 June 2011, the Adaptation Fund Board approved US$17.4 million in grant funding and accredited the National Environment Fund of Benin as the fourth National Implementing Entity and the West African Development Bank as the first Regional Implementing Entity.
